Manufactured Home Sewer Connections

Approximately four hundred new and used manufactured homes are sited in Clermont County every year. To ensure that waste water will not leak and collect underneath or around the unit due to improper materials or installation sewer connection permits and inspections are required on all single-wide and all double-wide homes whether installed in parks or on private lots. Units on permanent foundations are also required to have a water test on the drainage system.

If a unit will be placed in a licensed park you need only the park information, a lot number and address to obtain a permit. A private lot will require a zoning permit, electrical permit and septic approval.
