Miscellaneous Complaints Miscellaneous complaints include health concerns which do not fit into the other categories. A well or cistern which has not been properly abandoned is an example. When a well or cistern is no longer intended for use, the owner must properly abandon the well or cistern in accordance with the Private Water System Rules (OAC 3701-28-07). Concerns about an in-ground swimming pool not enclosed within a fence is another example of a miscellaneous complaint. An in-ground swimming pool must be enclosed with a fence at least 48 inches in height, and have secured gates of the same height. Enclosures are not required on above-ground swimming pools. |
