Clermont County Public Health Receives Auditor of State Award
Batavia, Ohio - Following a recent audit by the Auditor of State's office, Clermont County Public Health has earned the Auditor of State Award for excellent recordkeeping.
The Auditor of State Award is presented to local government agencies and school districts that file timely financial reports and receive a clean audit report. Receiving a clean report means that the audit did not contain any material citations, findings for recovery, weaknesses, deficiencies, or any questioned costs.
"We are honored to receive this award for the second year in a row," said Fiscal Officer Katrina Stapleton. "Credibility and responsibility are two of our core values that drive the work of our agency. This award reflects our hard work and efforts to adhere to our values."
Clermont County Public Health has a staff of nearly 50 employees and an operating budget of about $3 million. In 2015, approximately 40 percent of their revenue came from local licenses and fees, while about 25 percent came from state and federal grants.
