Clermont County Public Health is now offering free, confidential/anonymous HIV testing and education. Testing will be conducted on the first Tuesday of each month at the Nursing Division of Clermont County Public Health, located at 2400 Clermont Center Drive, Suite 200, Batavia, OH, 45103. To schedule an appointment, call the Nursing Division at (513) 735-8400.

What does confidential testing mean?

Confidential testing means that you do give your name when you are tested, but this information is kept private and is not shared with others outside the testing process.

What does anonymous testing mean?

Anonymous testing means that you do not have to give your name when being tested (for HIV testing).

How is the testing done?

HIV testing is done via an oral swab to the inside of the mouth. Results of this test are available within 20 minutes.

How do I get my test results? What happens if my test results are positive?

The HIV Intervention Specialist who conducts your testing will be the person who will give you your test results. Test results for HIV will be shared with you on the same day you are tested before you leave the testing site.
If your test results are positive, the Intervention Specialist will provide you with education about the results, and will guide you to the next steps you should take to protect your health.
