The Board of Health is the governing body of the Health District and has authority to adopt rules and regulations and enact policies within the District. The Board meets on the second Wednesday of each month at 7:30 p.m. in the Health District offices, 2275 Bauer Road, Batavia, Ohio, 45103. These meetings are open to the public and the Board encourages citizen participation. The District Advisory Council of the Clermont County General Health District consists of the chairman of the trustees from each township, the mayor from each village and a Representative of the Board of County Commissioners. This Group makes appointments to the Board of Health, reviews the Annual Report of the Health District and advises the Board of Health on matters of public health within the District. The city of Milford contracts with the District Advisory Council for provision of public health services.
