Installing a Manufactured Home in a Park
A "manufactured home park" is defined as any track of land upon which three or more manufactured homes, used for habitation are parked, either free of charge or for revenue purposes, and includes any roadway, building, structure, vehicle or enclosure used or intended for use as a part of the facilities of the park. It does not include any track of land used solely for the storage or display of manufactured homes.
All manufactured home parks are required to obtain a license each year, with the license fee being determined by the number of lots that can be occupied within the park.

The Health District inspects all manufactured home parks a minimum of two times per year. With 34 parks and 4300 households residing within these parks, the staff spends a great deal of time evaluating safety, sanitation and nuisance complaint issues.
